Professor David Baldwin David Baldwin is Professor of Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton, and an Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, where he offers a tertiary referral service for patients with mood and anxiety disorders. His research focuses on clarifying the causes and refining the treatment of anxiety and depression. He is Clinical Advisor to the National Clinical Audit of Anxiety and Depression, and Chair of the Psychopharmacology Committee of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and is a Past President of Depression Alliance and current Medical Patron of Anxiety UK.
